Injaz Lebanon, Junior Achievement Worldwide, Recently Sponsored by the MBI Al Jaber Foundation
Teaching children how they can have an impact upon the world around them.
Injaz Lebanon, recently sponsored by the MBI Al Jaber Foundation, is a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s largest and fastest growing organization of its kind, linking the private sector with education. Established in 1919, Junior Achievement (JA) provides young people of school-age with learning experiences designed to inspire and prepare them for success in the global economy. JA has established global partnerships between the business community, educators and volunteers, working together to inspire young people to reach their potential. JA's experiential programmes teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people around the world. Through age-appropriate curricula, Junior Achievement programmes begin at primary school level, teaching children how they can have an impact upon the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers. Junior Achievement programmes continue through secondary school, preparing students for future economic and workforce issues they are likely to face. All Junior Achievement programmes are tested in classrooms and regularly updated in response to comments from teachers, students and volunteers. The results of these evaluations are used to revise and improve the instructional materials. The MBI Al Jaber Foundation is committed to forging links between the Middle East and the wider world through educational and cultural activity. Our inspiration is drawn from our Patron, MBI Al Jaber, who believes that individuals can make a difference, and that education is the key to a better future of the world.
