We believe that everyone in the world should have the rights of freedom and opportunity. 

H.E Sheikh Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber started the MBI Al Jaber Foundation to ensure that more people of the Arab world not only have these rights, but can use them to make a positive difference, both at home and in the wider world.

The MBI Al Jaber Foundation firmly believes that education will be the catalyst for building a better tomorrow. Since the 1990s, we have given hundreds of promising students from the Middle East and North Africa the chance to continue their education in some of the best universities around the globe.

Today our graduates are performing important work in government, global politics, medicine, literature and scientific research. We are proud to have given them the chance to excel… and want to ensure that we give the same opportunities to as many people as possible.

Since beginning our scholarship programme, the MBI Al Jaber Foundation’s work has evolved to offer support for institutions, seats of learning and a number of global initiatives.

We work hand in hand with trusted partners to create an environment which brings people together, promoting good governance and cultural dialogue.  We believe that improved mutual understanding – with education as the catalyst – can make a significant and positive difference to people’s lives and to society as a whole.
