Society Voice Foundation
The Society Voice Foundation for Community and Civil Work (SVF) is a non profit-making organization, non-governmental and non-partisan, founded in 2001 in the Gaza Strip. SVF aims at empowering the Palestinian civil society by designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating a series of community actions. Therefore, SVF has a number of professionals in the field of women’s sociopolitical empowerment, democracy, good governance, conflict resolution, and human rights issues.
SVF has four different offices in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank city of Ramallah. Since its inception, SVF has succeeded in managing four civil society programmes, and major community development targeting mainly women, children and youth. In addition, SVF seeks to expand its operations in the Palestinian territories to contribute to the development of Palestinian society and its social change process.
Society Voice Foundation for Community and Civil Work, under director MBI Alumnus Ibrahim Natil, has recently concluded a project to empower women’s social and political participation with the support of the MBI Al Jaber Foundation.
