Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford
Founded in 1517, Corpus Christi is amongst Oxford’s oldest colleges. Its 16th and 18th century buildings are some of the most beautiful in Oxford, and it enjoys an unrivalled position, overlooking gardens and meadows yet within five minutes walk of the city centre and the Bodleian Library. The College is small – with 240 undergraduate and 115 postgraduate students. The staff includes 33 academic Fellows, all of them distinguished teachers and researchers in their fields. The remarkable 16th century library, with its early furnishings yet fully equipped with modern networking facilities, contains 80,000 books and carries 80 journals.
